Is it feasable to replace my 60/40 split bench with captain's chairs?

yep.

I think the caveat was that yuk/hoes can't use burb/xl.

I'm sure a search will turn up the needed data though.

Wish I could help since I still have my entire interior out. Let me know if you want to check something. I suggest looking at some seats and their bolt pattern, then verify that against the bolt pattern on the floorboard. I'm gunna say I know at least that the front bucket seats definitely will not fit into the rear without some serious modifications.

Captain's chairs would be cool though :waytogo:

i bet its just a matter of laying out the bolt pattern on the floor and welding up studs to mount the seats too.

Mine bolted right up. Didnt have to do any fabricating.

even better. if i had a third row i probably would do it but i travel too much and the passengers like the bench to stretch out on.

do you have a third row trick? if now, how far can the center captains recline with no back seat in the way?

no that was the first thing that came out when i got the truck lol. My speaker box covers the whole hatch area so i cant really give you a good answer on that how far the lean back. They do have some lean to them though.

Picking up this rather old thread since I'm thinking of buying a GMT800 Tahoe. I'm rather tall and need to have the seat almost as far back as it will og leaving something to be desired in the leg room Department for my kids. Will the leg room on the second row be better with separate seats than with the bench?
