Can someone help identify his grinding noise?

2017 Tahoe 5.3 4x4. 166,000 miles. Just recently started noticing this grinding noise during startup and slow acceleration. I’m not even sure if it’s coming from the engine. I thought it might be maybe an exhaust sound like a loose clamp. I’m not sure. I’ve owned it since 33,000 miles and it’s been very good to us besides a new transmission at around 140,000 miles.
Thank you

Welcome to your first post after 6 years as a member.

If you are talking about the noise when you accelerated the one time, could be numerous things. Sounded like an exhaust noise from either a leak or clogged exhaust but you did not say if the noise affected the power of the engine.

Be better to record with hood up. You can also buy an inexpensive mechanic's stethoscope and use it to try and narrow down the location of the noise.

yes I made the account when I first bought it but haven’t had any issues to post about it. Usually I can find all my answers from searching here but I couldn’t find any answers for this issue. This was instantly after starting the vehicle. I jumped out and started recording. I did not rev the engine in this video. I do hear it sometimes during very light acceleration usually under 10 miles an hour. I will try to get a video with the hood up. Sometimes the phone doesn’t pick up the sound good enough to post on here. Thanks for the reply!

Probably a loose heat shield, you can get under it and star tapping around with a rubber mallet
there is various heat shields, check them all
it's all about using your eyes and ears, should be easy to find

Gotta agree with the heat shield aspect. You said start up and "slow accel" and I thought you revved the engine.

Did it start after the transmission?
