First make sure that the electrical connector is in good condition and fully inserted into the shock.
If the connector is good, then put a 5 Ohm 25 watt resistor across the 2 electrical leads for that shock. If the code goes away, then it is a faulty shock. If the error remains, then you have a faulty electrical wire or the suspension control module itself.
Thank you for that info. It's the electrical side of these sensors that I'm just
not that versed in (body junk)
I did stay up most of the night working on this 2013 REAR
Put new powerstop tow brakes/rotors/pads
The M'fr caliper bracket bolts were about welded into the rear though..
And no way of getting a direct impact on them. Used heat and a big breaker
Removed the shocks. Found that Right Side air bag ripped/blown out.
So I replaced both with my used low mileage GM oe shocks that I kept
from my 2014 when I bought new for it in 2019-2020
Cleared code. Still need to test drive it.
They had the exact same GM part # on the shock tags.
I was a little worried as this 2013 came with 22" wheels & some of
the listings show diff part # for 22" wheels.
I put my old 20" wheels from my 2014 with new tires on the 2013
Hoping it rides better. I didn't care for the ride of 22"'s.. And they have
really good michelin tires on them.
