Good afternoon,

I am in the market for a new off-road project since my rebel had a collision. I’m going to be doing a full off road build (engine mods and suspension mods)

I am in between a fully loaded suburban for 6k and a base model with cloth seats and 4wd for 7k.

what are the faults with off-roading the suburban vs the Tahoe?

how easy is it to add in options to the Tahoe?

what LTZ options can I not add?

Each option has its own level of difficulty for installation, most all require programming via TIS2WEB.

Suburbans are heavier but carry more stuff, see the powertrain in action by looking up youtube videos of Avalanches. Why not choose the 6K vehicle over the 7K? Is the former the LTZ? Is it a 4x4?
