Broken glove box ......... HELP !!!

Got an'02 yukon with a broken glove box latch. I cant get it open , don't want to force it and cause further damage to the dash. Does anyone have any suggestions how to get it open without damage ?

you might be able to get somewhat into the box if you pull the passenger side fuze panel cover right next to the glove box. theres a big harness in there that pops out with 2 clips you can probably get a small hand in threw there or a long screw driver. ive never had to break into my glove box so i dont really know how it works. just giving you a place to start/try
