breaking noise coming out of the fron end

both my 04 tahoe and 04 yukon have a noise coming out of the front end. it could be the driver side wheel but not sure. ive taken them to several places and no one seems to know. they say it is very common on GM vehicles. does any one have the same problem like i do? do have an idea on what it could be?
