The idea of taking it out every time young to the dealer seems like a hassle. Anyone have any electrical issues because of these?
I have been running one in my Yukon for almost two years. It’s not a hassle if you get an OBD2 one like the Carbyte. Just unplug it before you hand them the keys. No electrical issues to worry about since it’s just plug n play.

I take mine out when visiting dealer for service and just put it in the side door cut out where my trailer plug sits.
Only takes seconds.

So you guys are running the Carbyte? Sounds quick. The Range didn’t seem bad either but when I watched the video…. disconnecting the battery and tearing back the wheel well liner and removing screws isn’t exactly quick for me. I know it might only take 30-40mins of tinkering but I don’t have that kinda time to crawl around the wheel wheel 3 times a year (6 if you count taking it out and putting it back in).

You can always drive around in L9, which will (nearly always) disable Cylinder Confusion.

Yes Carbyte.
Extremely low profile
Plug right into your OBD port, direct fit and is easily unplugged
