Is there a relay for the brake switch. My brake lights don't work. All the other lights work fine just the brake lights. 97 yukon 4x4 5.7

Should be a fuse. I had the same problem on my Buick. The fuse would blow from time to time. Eventually I had to chase the wires from the fuse box to the taillights and found a wire had rubbed against the body underneath my trunk carpet and was shorting out on the body, hence blowing the fuse. Check your fuses and Google the diagram if you don't have the fuse box cover.
