Blue DVD Screen can you dim or turn it off

Hello everyone,
my wife has the DVD system in her Yukon SLT, and we noticed when you have the radio/dvd off, the screen stays blue.
is there anyway to turn the screen right off or at least dim it?

Yes, change the dim to "auto" on the DVD menu, and you can control the brightness with the dash illumination knob to the left of your steering wheel.

I have noticed that even with the dimmer all the way down, it is STILL to bright at times. I think if you go into the menu->display, you can turn it off altogether. Just a heads up.....
