I had the Yukon in for repairs and they disconnected the battery. Now the blower motor is acting up, doesn't blow air like it used to. Could this just need a reset of some sort, and if so, how do i do that?

It was fine before hand, now it is quite weak in blowing air. The rear blows fine, but out of the driver/passenger vents it is weak. The air is nice and cold that does come out, just not pushing much air. thinking i may need to replace blower motor.

I would disconnect the battery again for about 10-15 minutes and see if controller resets. You do have a blower motor control module/resistor and may just need a reset. Can't hurt. I don't think it is the blower but could be the controller. It is listed at Rock Auto.

I disconnected battery and it didn't change much, i ran the truck for about 5 mins afterwards....still weak. where is the blower motor resistor? is it something i can change myself or would that come with the new blower motor if i were to purchase one?

You tube is your friend. You said it didn't change "much". Meaning it did change? A reset of longer time may fix. Your general statements of "acting up" and "much" are very misleading. Exact details help us to try and help you. I don't want to make you mad but don't be lazy and post exact info.

Some air comes out the vents, probably about half of normal. will turn down, however will not go to full speed. I just bought a new resistor, was about to install but of course the rain hit. Will update once installed....fingers crossed!!

Great. The more detailed info we get from you the better chance we have to help. I ran shops back in the day. Asking for info from customers was like being a doctor and getting all details in order like a doc asking you about yourself.
