I will be purchasing some LTs...I JUST got off the phone with Dynatech, then called Pacesetter...heres what I got so far....

Dynatech

Headers

(Kit Number) 115-141 300a
(Price) $859

Y-Pipe + Cats
(Kit Number) 115-141 300b
(Price) $635

(Claimed Power Gains Un-tuned) 20hp-25hp

Total Price = $1494

Pacesetter

Headers
Non-Stainless
(Kit Number) 72C2265
(Price) $702

Y-Pipe WITHOUT Cats Aluminized (which means I have to buy high flow cats separate!!)

(Claimed Power Gains Un-tuned) 10%

Total Price = 942 (plus, I still need to purchase high flow cats)

If Pacesetter means %10 of existing HP, find out exactly how many horses your running, and see if it competes with Dynatech. If it does I would go with Pacesetters and purchase some universal high flow cats from anywhere, they're less than $100.

subscribe, I've been contemplating also on getting some long tube headers but due to the fact living in California only makes it harder for me to get some long tubes, Since we're both in the same state i look forward to seeing what you actually get good look bro.

I just know that 20-25 is a pretty common term for companies with any of their products...Intake companies claim 20-25....hand held programers claim 20-25

and 10% seems like the same BS claim...I dont think these companies put much time into recording numbers or investigating the gains so I dont know what to think

06tahoe, I know what you mean bro...I've posted a few times asking about LTs on here...but Cali makes it such a PIA....I want the most power...thats all I care about...I want the headers that will give me the best performance...but its easier to ask for then it is to get a straight answer...and Cali laws SUCK for aftermarket parts...just gotta find someone that will forgive the "visual" aspect during your smog testing lol...I'll keep you all updated...

If anyone can give any info (pros and cons) for these headers, let me know please

I believe Jenna is using AEM? or something like that? and Max is using JBA iirc....or maybe thats reversed...iono...but they are hard to find...anyways, lemme know guys! I'd like to purchase them THIS WEEK

I've been looking at LPP but they dont seem as popular in the truck performance world...I'm open to anything though..thanks for the advice! :) Anyone have experience with any of these 3 brands?

well my gto stock made 330hp 325tq all I did was install pacesetters and tuned for them and made 365/365 no other changes. and went from running 12.9's to running 12.30s constantly. I got the uncoated and it costed me about 1000 total for headers, mids, install and tune... They held up fine.

To me the more expensive shit isnt always the best. I could care less how they look. My friend on the other hand purchased his dynatechs and pretty and costed him like 2500 after install and tune and He still couldnt beat me :)

Only brand I would buy if I wanted to spend money is ARH thats it

If your in cali.. no lt's.. I used JBAs on my vette for emissions.. Worked good.. Install was a breeze. ran the ti exhaust and tune and ran good

yea, I couldnt really care less how they look once they are installed...(i might PC them red though)...but I was reading at GMFS that a lot of the pacesetter guys say they are wearing out...

Was your buddy in the same kinda GTO? same mods except headers?

and our truck's manifolds are pretty much shorties anyways and push the same amount of air according to BlackBear and a few others...I know LTs are not so Cali friendly...but I can forgive that issue lol

Also another thing to consider is, ceramic over painted and stainless over ceramic.. :) it just makes your search that much more difficult. I bought my ****** LTs on ebay for 300 bucks shipped (ceramic) normally about 450 to 550 bucks. keep your eyes out on CL and ebay.

for 500 I would go for lpp.. No he was in an srt8 charger lol. It was a joke. But yeah man its your money. I actually coated mine in vht before I installed them and had no problems what so ever. they held up fine. I use to go to the track at least twice a week and daily driven.

If I am not mistalen I payed 300 for headers and mids.. HPE in Houston did the install and Chuck Anders tuned it... My dyno graphs are on my face book
