Blend Door Question

Hi all,

Just picked my Z71 up today! Love it. Literally the only issue I've found so far is a clicking noise that occurs maybe 20% of the time when the vehicle is first started. It sounds like it is near the steering column under the dash. It clicks for around 1-2 mins and then is silent.

It sounds like a blend door that gets stuck. Has anyone else had an issue like this? Haven't had time to investigate further into it due to work.

You can try the blend door reset and see if that helps and it is free! Just search GM Blend door reset, there are good descriptions here and on the Youtube.

Essentially, you disconnect the battery or the fuse for 10 minutes or more and that causes the system to reset itself and do a complete self test of all the actuators.
