Can I put 5100’s on without any other changes? Looking to set them at 1.25” front and 1” in the back. I already have 35’s with everything stock apart from the pullback kit and no rubbing.

Anyone know what size the stock shocks are compared to these?

I’ve seen a small amount of positive feedback about these, anything negative or issues?

Thank you

Beautiful truck!

I 'think' that you can, but several folks here run Bilsteins, and they will chime in.

I just measured with calipers and all 4 stock shocks are 51mm/2” which is the same as the 5100’s as per their website

You're running 35s on an otherwise stock Suburban aside from the pullback kit?

5100's are not adjustable, but they are good shocks, If you do not have air ride then they are plug-n-play

they will outlast the oem ones on a k2, that's pretty much a given.
Well I've got 102,000mi on the OEM ones so far but they take a beating on fire roads and back country roads pretty much every single weekend and it's starting to show, but I don't want a harsh ride around town because we've got some pretty garbage roads. I'm eyeballing the Eibach Pro Trucks for that reason, I just wish they made the Stage 2 or 2R for our trucks.

I've run bilstein 5100's on previous trucks. They're firmer shocks, but they offer better control and road feel. IMHO. I like their build in leveling kit that you can adjust when installing, but I've never gotten the advertised amount of lift per what the directions say. Some amount of settling will occur and for example if you set at 2" you may only get 1.5".
