sort of, lol.

found a big nice fat 1/0 gauge already between the engine block and neg. battery.

used 4 to ground the battery and run the alt to the battery, 600amps running thru them at least.

although i still see some dimming, im planning on doubling it up.

15 volts at idle!

i have a piece of 1/0 thats about 2 1/2 ft long, how far will that get me?

no 15 is "safe" you can charge up to 18 or so. but your alternators are "limited" to around 14. anything over 15 your battery will start to boil. unless your running a 16 VOLT system.

the big 3 is upgrading the current wiring between your :

battery ground
engine block to chassis
alternator to battery positive

get some fat wire and some terminals, thats it
