Does anyone know if performing the flash relearn after having installed switches and harnesses will allow the BCM to recognize and learn the new switches?
I've got a 2004 Tahoe Z71. The 03-06 model years come with heated seats as an option, but I didnt' get them when I bought the vehicle new. Close to having the parts collected (all OEM) to do the mod, but don't want to put all the time in to find out that the BCM re-programming won't work.
Anyone have any experience? I've looked through other threads and found dudes writing about scavenging the parts for this job, but haven't seen anyone get as far as a BCM reprogramming for it.
