I love how you are able to adjust your page fonts and colors to your liking. Very Cool. I am a man who loved to work on cars and motorcycles. But the motorcycle I loved working on took away a part of my life. I had an accident on my bike which disabled me where my back is in pain daily. I loved working on my Custom 1995 S-10 Blazer,( K&N cold air intake, Alpine head unit, Indiglo instrument cluster, Two 12" Alpine audiophile Rockford fosgates and amp). my 2003 Custom Yamaha R1 (too many add ons to list), my Custom 2005 Yukon Xl Denali with 23" rims and 305/40/23 Kuhmo STX tires, Alpine d-310 7" screen DVD player that has Navigation, and an I pod Hook up, this is mounted where the 6 disk changer was on the lower dash, I also mounted a flip up 7" screen where the normal radio was. I also installed a 21 inch overhead flip down screen for the rear passengers, This was a very tough install because I have a moon roof that slides back and I had to mount it around the moon roof, also a Viper 5200 car alarm and autostart and my 2005 Stock 2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP NorthstartV8 (I guess I installed a K&N cold air intake and a 7"Alpine DVD player. I also cut into the back head rest to install 9" LCD TV screens for the alpine DVD player). OH I also installed a remote car starter an Astro start 5220 I think. It’s a two way car starter and it has an alarm on it. This was all before I had my accident, now I have a very hard time changing my oil. It was early November in North Dakota and we had no snow on the ground yet and it was 40 degrees out and I wanted to get one last ride in, bad choice. I got out on the highway and gunned it and the tires were not warm to stick to the cold streets and I wrecked and hit a bridge embankment. Ever since then I have been living with horrible pain but I have faith in the lord that he will help me. I pray daily that I will return to my regular self and go back to work because I miss that more than anything. I get so bored at home and I just want everything to be over with. I trust the Lord though and he is walking with me, I know he is. Sorry for writing a novel on my introduction but it nice to talk to people who may listen? Take Care and God Bless.

How did it happen?

from one motorcycle crash victim to another. welcome.

What were you riding and how did it happen. Hitting the ground sucks and I hope everything is OK where you didnt damage your body. Bikes take alot of damage when not on two wheels. even on a tip over they can cause $1000 worth of damage.

^ street bike, car pulled out in front of me on my way to work. Hit him head (passenger side headlight area) on at 50mph. Went up and over the car landed in the street. about 20' from where i hit the car. Broke both wrist (left wrist i cant bend anymore, multiple surgeries on it.) tore the acl and lcl in my right knee. I had a backpack on that had an air pouch in the middle back area which i think helped saved my back. I will take that outcome over anything else. It changed my life alot in many ways.

Yourself?
