That's encouraging. Hopefully the UN9 radio suppression package will help filter any noise.

I'm considering the Diode Dynamics SL2 Pro's because of the placement of the fan keeping the heat within the lamp housing which should melt snow that accumulates on the lens, and also their lifetime warranty.

Do LEDs in our generation headlight housings need to be clocked, or do they line up properly?

I haven't actually driven my Tahoe in the dark yet, so I don't know how good/bad the stock headlights might be. Just doing the research.

I do recommend the LED for low beam lights. They are still (IMO) way better than any halogen bulb. My experience with premium halogens has been very short life span due to their higher heat point.
The secret to long life with halogen is to not touch the bulbs with bare fingers. Oils/acids from finger prints can burn the glass globe causing early failure.

Because of the heat output of halogens, they'll also shorten the life of the plug. So LEDs can help the sockets live a longer life.

Temu specials lol. You don’t need to spend a lot to improve the night driving. You CAN spend a lot but don’t think it necessary. I’m running a set that cost $14 or something.

You should purchase adjustable LEDs, as the chance of everything aligning perfectly, as in plug and play, has not been my experience over a number of LED installations. Correct alignment is critical to proper beam field pattern, and an adjustable LED is the only to achieve that proper alignment.

Thanks; the SL2 Pro's are clockable.

One of my customers called today stating their 2-way radio goes "out of range" when they turn their headlights on. It's a new Peterbilt with factory LED headlights. These headlights are supposedly designed to have "less" RF interference. So that's NOT encouraging. lol
