I'm new to this site but I just ran across a great price for these headlights that I'm putting on my new Yukon that i'm picking up tomorrow. I figure I'd pass this on to you guys in case anyone was looking for some new lights. I think the halo lights are a little played out already and these are just look more modern. They do cost more, but have great reviews.

Looks like they only have them for the 00-06 Sierra/Yukons, not the Tahoe/Suburban.

For anyone who buys them I would recommend a brighter bulb, leds, hids, or brighter halogens becuase the ones it comes with are pretty dim.

Yeah I plan on getting hids for mine. The LEDs are good though. And the u bar is really bright! I ended up getting the markers too. They look pretty sweet together. Now I just gotta figure out what tail lights to get lol

Unless you plan to stick a projector in these, don't get hid's.

What are you talking about? The low beam is a projector lens in these lights. It comes With a halogen bulb, but hids will work just fine in them.

And why is that? I've put hids in other cars that didn't have hids stock and they worked just fine. They have a good cutoff so not to blind people. It ain't like its a regular light housing thats gonna scatter light everywhere.

Halogen projectors =/= hid projectors

I understand that they are halogen projectors, but they work just fine with hids. I've never had a problem putting them in that type of headlight housing.

You shouldn't put a HID bulb in a halogen projector. Many arguments start over this. Here's a thread about lighting...

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/tahoe-yukon-headlight-information-thread.47106/

I get all the points that you make and I'm not trying to argue with anyone about it. I'm far from a teenager that just wants a cool looking light. I'm over 40 and I've used hid lighting with halogen projectors since they fist came out. I've never once experienced any issues with using the 35 watt kits. The light produced was always bright and had a great cutoff line. Again, I'm not arguing with anyone......just speaking from my own personal experience on this subject. Now when people use them in non projector halogen housings....that's a different story all together.

Well let me shed some light, ha! I have the Anzo U bars on my 08 Tahoe and the projectors sucks. I have changed the bulbs with HIDs and they suck badly. There's a dark spot on the vehicle in front of you. So imagine rolling up on a vehicle at a red light... the back of their car is barely lit up. Although the sides of their car is lit. I have a 4000 lumen HID kit at 5k. I bought the h7c which is 5mm shorter than the h7. I got a guy at Anzo to tell me. I have tried LED bulbs since you can get brighter bulbs than HID but they're physically too big. With the heatsink on the back of the bulb, the headlamp housing itself won't bolt into place. Maybe the Anzo Yukon headlights are different but I bet the projectors are the same. I'm about to rip mine out and put these in I think.

Really? I think you might've gotten a defective set. Mine have perfect projectors in them. No dark spots whatsoever and great light coverage. I mean anything can happen during manufacturing though. You would think they would've tested them and caught it though. I will say that set on that truck is really nice!

I'm running the halogen bulbs that they came with for now. I haven't had the time to get new bulbs yet. So busy with Xmas shopping for all these kids I got lol. I'm gonna try to remember to take some pics tomorrow so I can send them to you. I really think you got a defective pair. Respond to this so I see an alert....that will remind me when I come back on this site.

I hold myself back from commenting on this lol.
Run what youre comfortable running. Hids, halogens , led, whatever. Projectors or reflectors. No argument from me. As long as you don't kill anyone.
Just looked at the page you posted but didnt see the lights you specified.

Personally I'm a little more worried about people texting or drinking and driving than some brighter than average lights like hids.
But that's just me.
