Anyone know if there is an extended warranty period for 2008 covering emission system

My 2008 with 85K just had the check engine light come on. Nice timing. I called a local dealer and he said warranty covers only for 5 years or 80,000 for emissions. My check engine light threw the famous P0430 code at me. Thus O2 or catalytic converter. Anyone know if that warranty was extended? Sometimes that happens.
