Anyone have a pic of the underside of the rearview mirror surround/trim piece?

Hey all,

Finally bought a wiring harness for my V1 that plugs in to the rv mirror wiring... but, despite watching the youtube video where an installer removes the shroud from an Escalade, I just don't feel like I've got a handle on how the Yukon Denali one -- which is smaller than the Escalade one -- attaches/comes off.

I don't want to break anything, and think that having a pic of the back would tell me a lot about how to remove it.

In the meantime, and regardless of whether you have pics or not, if you can share any advice as to pulling this piece without breaking anything, I'd appreciate it!

They all come off pretty much the same. I installed a rear view camera mirror on my tahoe and the rv mirror trim came off pretty much the same as the escalade.

Good to know. But more info on how you removed it (like where you got it started, what tools you used, etc.) would be really helpful.
