This is really therapeutic to me, but I hope to never go through this much again to purchase a vehicle

Tahoe RST w/ Sport pkg, pano and sliding console.

-Ordered: 12/6/2021
-Accepted: 6/10/2022
-TPW: 6/20/2022
-Produced: 6/23/2022
-Invoice & Window Sticker (Dealer provided to me on): 7/6/2022
-Shipping status pending
(My salesman sent a pic of Invoice but seems to have covered or folded invoice where I cannot see any ETA info. Maybe normal since shipping is still pending but just did not see any ETA details).

I’ll add where I’m at just for fun…

‘22 Tahoe Premier 3.0L w/sunroof & rear bench. Midnight Blue/ Black int.

1/14/22 - placed order with dealer
(They told me I was their 27th Tahoe in line)
5/31/22 - order accepted, no TPW yet
6/16/22 - TPW 6/27
6/27/22 - Vehicle produced
6/28/22 - Window sticker generated, “in-transit” on dealer website
7/1/22 - GM chat states - “Your vehicle is waiting to be shipped. Your event code is 4300.”

Nothing further from dealer at this point but getting antsy. Has anyone with TPW’s in this area had their car held up in QC or waiting on parts?
I had TPW of 6/27 on my Yukon Denali but didn’t get produced until 7/6. I have a window sticker and it showed up on dealer website as “in transit” today. Dealer told me it had been assigned to Union Pacific for rail transport. Hoping that means it’s coming home vs. a holding lot somewhere. Seems like the recent builds have been stripped of any features that would make them sit and wait for chips though and they are just being sent right out for delivery.

I got pretty much the same info from my dealer today. The salesman told me one place says it’s “delayed” but VINview shows it assigned to Union Pacific RR with an ETA to the dealer of 7/30. I presume (hope) the delayed means waiting on shipping. He said once it starts moving by rail he can track it better, which I have heard others say here too.

Side note, what kind of interest rates are you guys getting? I was thinking GM financial but could use a local credit union also. Don’t mean to hijack the thread, just thinking out loud. Glad to see them getting delivered

Can you share the link? I have a vin and window sticker, but no info on where the vehicle actually is.

It's a bit tricky but attempt it on mobile device and not on cpu. Ultimately, if it tracks your vin you will want to register to site with first name, last name and email address. Do not get discouraged if you get an error message, just keep attemting to register, it will work. Once registered, return to site and log in. You will need a temporary password so just click on forgot password option and you will receive one by email. Username will be your email address. Once logged in you can obtain more information on your vehicle status. On top left corner, choose OVISS option to log in. Then search for your VIN using search option. This method will only work if your vehicle is being shipped using United Road.

For what it’s worth, my VIN never showed results on the united road site.

The credit union I work for is 2.79 for up to 72months. We are probably the lowest in our area.

Update:

Ordered: 12/6/2021
Accepted: 6/10/2022
TPW: 6/20/2022
Produced: 6/23/2022
Invoice & Window Sticker (Dealer proviced): 7/6/2022
Shipping status pending.

As of today, 7/18/22, chat stated order arrived this morning in Drew, Florida (some 30 or so minutes from the dealership awaiting pick-up. Also, United Road site is showing Pending Pick-up. Prior to today it showed Imactive status. All of us with similar TPW's and getting insufficient info from GM and dealer, hang in there, our Tahoes is near.

Dealer informed me I have a TPW of 6/20. Ordered 4/13/22 and was fully expecting it to be a 23, looks like one of the last 22's I guess. Hope the shipping goes like @Capsaicin . Heard a rumor some of the train crews were going to strike.

Summit White Premier 2WD
3.0L Duramax
Enhanced display/alert package
2nd row 60/40

passed a few orders on my dealers list by dropping max tow and not wanting a 6.2L

I may have a low mile 22 LT 4WD 5.3L luxury package with 22" black/machined wheels for sale if the dealer doesn't deal when the Duramax comes in.
New Premier showed up today! Will be picking up on Wednesday. Time to see if I get the price protection and a good trade in price. LT has 2500 miles and may be for sale by owner soon.

Seems like you guys with the late June TPWs just squeaked by with having fully produced rides. Mine had a TPW of 7/4 and is now sitting waiting on a chip :(

Just to ad my piece to those who still may be waiting.

‘22 Tahoe Premier 3.0L w/sunroof as only option

1/14/22 - placed order with dealer
5/31/22 - order accepted, no TPW
6/16/22 - TPW 6/27
6/27/22 - Vehicle produced
6/28/22 - Window sticker generated, “in-transit” on dealer website
7/1/22 - “Shipped” code 4300
7/28/22 - Arrived at dealer. East end of Long Island
7/30/22 - Scheduled delivery day.

For the record, the prices went up right around my order accepted date. Salesman that day told me the old price over the phone. The window sticker now shows $2300 above what he told me. I balked and they agreed to meet meet me somewhere in the middle. I’m ok-ish with that. Really excited to just get the darn thing, will update with pics after delivery.

Truck has finally been delivered to the dealer today. Too late for inspection but I’ll pick it up next week. Here’s a pic the sales guy sent me. He’s very excited to finally get his commission. We have been waiting on my wife’s Yukon since last September had to remove a lot of options along the way because of constraints, but it will eventually come. Keep the faith. I’ll post more pics once I get the keys.

RST 5.3 suburban (second row bucket, panoramic sunroof, luxury package) ordered 5/14, order accepted 5/26 and TPW is 6/20.
Anyone still following this thread?

Finally delivered on 8/10. Got to the dealership on 8/12 to pick it up but the salesman pointed out some imperfections that they wanted to fix before I took it home. It looks like it did sit in a lot for a bit. It should delivered to me tomorrow night.
