I don't know if this is considered broken, but I think my lift had a lot to do with it....I had a hell of a shimmy at highway speeds...Jacked the front end up in the air & figured out it was a bad ball joint. Was surprised at 57K a ball joint was shot already.
Fortunately I had bought an extended warranty with full disclosure that the truck was lifted 4"... $100 deductible later & I had a whole new driver side upper control arm replaced. I figure it was probably quicker/easier for the dealer to replace the whole control arm then install a new ball joint.
