Selling my PC65 and thinking about getting one for my 21. What are you guys using instead? I’m not going to spend big money for a tune since I’m only keeping this ride a free more years.

It is a device that goes between your has pedal connection and the car. It can increase the rate/sensitivity of the pedal movement for a more rapid feel of acceleration. I have had one on 3 so far and was well pleased. What is PC?
Pedal Commander is not the only one, forgot what it's called, I call them pedal pumpers. What is PC?
There are many things in life I would consider waste of money, but what you eat don’t make be fat. My last three vehicles would spin the rear tires more easily from dead stop. May not be great for the trans, but that’s not a worry for me. It does generate more smiles at launch for sure. The Pedal commander does nothing for power, all it does is re-index the pedal so if you take off from a stop at 1/4 throttle without it with the PC it might be 1/8th throttle, it just makes the pedal more sensitive that's all it does. My opinion its a waste of money
Your foot position is NOT the throttle position, unless & until the ecm & tcm AGREE & APPORVE of that.... don't think that it is necessarily great for the transmission and changing gears, as I believe that the transmission's computer (TCM) also takes information on the throttle position.
Calm down, and try spell check too. Everyone knows your opinion, and I have mine. If I want to spend my money on pink wiper blades, I will, and your rants about why it’s a waste won’t make a difference.Your foot position is NOT the throttle position, unless & until the ecm & tcm AGREE & APPORVE of that.
Once physical throttle cables gave way to electronic throttle SIGNALS,
your foot makes a REQUEST, that MAY, EVENTUALLY be fulfilled by the throttle,
AFTER the ecm & tcm ALLOW (whatever part of) your request to be fulfilled at a prescribed rate of fulfillment.
Your foot and the throttle's connection are tenuous at best.
Just because your FOOT goes from 0%-100% in 0.50sec,
does NOT mean the throttle will ever do that, EVEN with a pedal pumper.
As said, all the pedal pumper does is tell the ecm & tcm that
your FOOT went further than it actually did, quicker than your FOOT actually did.
ecm & tcm still decide if when & how quickly to fulfill foot's request.
This was done specifically to improve emissions, torque mgmt / powertrain longevity, and NVH;
if engine & transmission response time get a lil bit slower, so be it.
Onboard realtime driving data has nothing to do with anyone's opinion. Check for yourself. It's not like I'm trying to mislead anyone; quite the opposite.Everyone knows your opinion ...
Most of us here may not be rocket scientists like yourself, but I already have multiple 0-60 times from multiple vehicles to validate my opinion. Nobody said your misleading anyone, but constantly brow beating and reposting information like you are the only person ever to discover water, is a bit annoying. There, I said it.Onboard realtime driving data has nothing to do with anyone's opinion. Check for yourself. It's not like I'm trying to mislead anyone; quite the opposite.
Um, you ARE looking for a performance gain - throttle response.just ordered a Pedal Commander for the 2025 Yukon 5.3L in an attempt to get rid of throttle lag. They claim that the PC eliminates throttle lag.
There is an off-idle lag followed by a small surge when attempting to take off from a stop slowly and it's annoying.
I'm not looking for performance gains or faster 0-60 times, just smooth instant throttle, like a carbureted engine gives.
It works for that purpose, no worries about that.I'll report back here if it works for this purpose. There is a 30 day money back guarantee, so why not give it a try?
