Annoying triple horn honk.

I get in the vehicle with key in pocket and upon closing the driver door, the horn triple honks. It ALWAYS happens first entry of the day and then randomly at other times. I have been through the Settings menu and turned everything off that mentions the horn. Any ideas?

I haven't read anything about it, but I agree it is annoying when I want to shut the engine and radio off and sit in the truck. It does it when I open then shut the door to get the radio to turn off.

I could be wrong but it might be trying to tell you the fob battery is low or that the fob is being left in the car or attempting to lock the vehicle with a door open

I believe your issue can be fixed in settings by turning off the “left key in vehicle” warning.

With push button start its a left vehicle while running warning and yeah its annoying.

Found that setting this morning and changed it, also changed my mirrors to auto fold when I lock/unlock the truck.

I get the triple honk after putting in gas. I guess it is supposed to remind me to close the fuel door?

I would like a triple honk anytime I get out of the non running vehicle and I’ve left the sunroof open.

I take issue with the triple honk and other honks, too. There are many times I am in and out of my '24 Tahoe during field work with my dogs. I have no need to lock it and would just like to leave the fob in the vehicle. It honks each time I get in and out of the vehicle which is annoying to myself and others. Thanks for letting me know there is a setting for that, but a new annoyance occured when I was parked at a location for a few hours, fob in the cup holder. When I went to leave and pushed the start button (with my foot on the brake) nothing happened. It was like dead. Nothing, Nada. I tried it a few times and right around the time I was feeling sick, I saw a notice in the speedometer area that basically said that the key had been "idle" too long and needed to be refreshed. SERIOUSLY????? Who thinks these things up?

My Tahoe, beeps and dings to much. I've learned to ignore it all. I'd like to disconnect the beeper if I could get to it.
