As always, I tried searching first but everything about random noises was slightly different, or temporary like just for awhile after shutting down or opening the door.
This noise is 24/7, doesn't matter if an audio cd is in or out, doesn't matter if the navigation cd is in or not, I've had the battery unplugged and it starts right back up after I reconnect it.
It is a constant humming which the video doesn't really capture, but at the end of it you hear the cd or hard drive noise it makes constantly. It doesn't seem to be much of a drain, just super annoying.
An aftermarket unit is on my to do list but is there a way to stop this noise??
Is it ok to post youtube link, or is there a better way to share videos?
