I own a '15 Yukon Xl SLT and Im looking on putting in a cold air intake. Has anyone done this and whats the best brand to go with? Im looking at K&N cold air intake with weatherstripping for a seal and also S&B filters that make a completely enclosed air box with a plexi glass cover on top. anyone know of any benefit for one or the other?

Check the performance section of the forums. Black Bear did some comparison testing of various intakes and posted the results.

The coldest air that you going to get is from outside of the engine compartment. Like the intake on the stock setup. Any CAI that has an element open to the engine compartment is not helpful. I really aFe but I'm not sure if they make one for this model yet.

And, K&N usually seems to the worst in filtration, in my internet studies.
