air conditioner stinking

My ac smells bad, wondering can I pour hot bleach down air intake near windshield to help clean out?

You can get a spray from the parts store made for the problem.

NOOOO!! DO NOT DO THAT!

Remove the lower cover and use a bio degradable cleaner on the AC thingy in there.
Then get the proper duct brush to clean the ducting out.

I would do that on mine. But I recommend the other way to others, especially when he wanted to pour bleach.

Do you have a in cabin filter? That is where I would start.

Defiantly remove the Hvac box cover (fresh air filter box) and clean out the crap that's in there. It can get really nasty.

Yea, mouse droppings and mouse hair and etc......

Ok will try, I sprayed ozium in there and it worked great but smell comes back when fans are on low and ac off

That's because you have the ick monster living in your Hvac box where the fresh air filter should be.
Its a common problem.. open it up ad clean it out.
