It is a replacement clutch, but used. So that is a check I have not tried so I might do that. Right now concentrating on getting the Dodge Trani done.

Right now I am busy getting ready for a minor surgery on Monday. That will delay me another week of digging into crap under the truck.
I should've tested the other clutch that way before replacement.

At this point I believe everything is working and the relay is sending juice to the Compressor coil, but it is shorting out before reaching he clutch and blowing the fuse. I can try jumping the clutch directly again and see what happens. I also heed to test the wires for a direct short. Was hoping others have had fuses blowing and tell me where they found the problem.
Then just measure the resistance on the connector direct on the compressor. I guess i should be around 4 ohm.

If 0 ohm the coil has a shortcut. If ok, measure from the relais socket.
If you have there 0 Ohm your wiring is the problem.

I would also check the relais, it can also have a shortcut.
