The unit powers up and is playing with a thumb drive in the USB port. The icon in the screen is dancing. No sound from any source selected in the menu. The wiring harness that came with the vehicle from another radio is wired exactly the same as another off the shelf I purchased and both are missing any connections to one portion of the plug in the dash wiring harness that has 3 wires in it two green wires and a brown wire.

I had some issues with my ‘02 as well. Someone on here wil chime in with the info you need. I do know that the sub, and on Star was another problem. If they weren’t hooked up right it wouldn’t work at all. If I remember correctly the pink/white wire was for the onstar. Don’t quote me, it’s been a long time since I messed with that system.
I know I had to run more power to supply the unit properly, and I ran new (better) larger gauge wire to the 6x9’s in the rear doors.
