Well I got my tahoe on craigslist for the weekend and figured I might as well post it on here for anyone interested. I hate to sell it, but I gotta. Most of you should know how much money ive put into this thing and it's a steal at this price especially if you're a mechanic.
I have for sale my 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4wd. TONS of custom parts (ill list below). Absolutely babied for the entire time ive owned it. Synthetic oil changes, premium gas, etc. Has 175k on the odometer, and the reason why im selling it for so cheap is because I recently just found out there's a small crack in the block by the starter. In this last month alone after replacing the starter twice, starter gear once, and the flywheel, I was finally told this is the problem. The truck runs EXCELLENT, but what happens is when I try to start it there's a grinding noise, and it's because the starter is flexing just a tiny bit because of the small crack in block. Atleast this is what ive been told by a mechanic. Now if you know how to weld cast you could weld it, or you could replace the whole engine which is what ill most likely do if nobody buys it this weekend. If you buy it and you wanna replace the engine I can tell you where you can get one with 80k miles for $1050 + core from a junkyard. Here is all the custom parts ive put into it:
