I have embarked on the task of eradicating the rusted panels on my 2 door. I have all the common Canadian GMT400 rusted areas. Lower rear quarter, lower door skins, rocker panels, and wheel arches. I purchased the body repair panels from LMC Truck and Mill Supply.

I started today by removing my rear fender flares. Anyone thinking of attempting this should consult this Youtuber. He has been to the mountain top.

The stamped PAL nuts holding the flares on are: GM P/N 15709267 (Flare Nuts)

I can keep you posted on my progress.

Inside of lower forward rear quarter. Rust cleaned up, ready to weld in new section.

Bumpers sandblasted. Pinholes through driver’s side front corner.

Front Fenders are off. Taking things apart is easy, it’s the putting back together properly that’s tough.
