95 Yukon free TBI mods

I apologize for bringing this up. I've searched the forum but can't find the info.

In a thread I saw about TBI performance mods, there was a mention of "taking the black thing out of the fender". Can anyone elaborate on this for me?

i must have missed this one entirely. if i remember there is an extra intake piece inside the fender ivee heard of people removing so your air box pulls air right out of the whole fender. you can also remove the top spacer ring and use a dremel or similar small tools to shave down the raised lips around the twin venturi bowl. these mods also require a different intake tube or a classic pan style 360° filter
