im not trying to spend like 5 or 6000$ on a motor... plus if i go anything much over 500 550hp then i will have to start looking into a built up trans which will runn me another 1000$ then driveshaft and then i would definitly need a 12 bolt rear end....

500 to 550hp will keep me in the range of keeping my 700r trans (just toss a few buck into a shift kit) and my 8.5" 10 bolt posi i got (putting 4.56 gears in it)

even at that 500hp i mite run in to problems with the 700r we shall see i guess lol

I feel a LOT of stick on fender vents, hood scoops and NOS stickers are in order for HP that high!

ya i got like 10 fender vents that wil be placed all over the car.... 4 fake hood scoops that are double sided taped on and i got a NOS windshield and rear windown banners ... figure that will give me about 200hp alone.... mite as well just keep the stock 305 in there with all them add ons!!!!

ya definitely gonna need ATLEAST 450hp on the low end to have it move and play like i want it to

my monte carlo has roughly 450/475hp and i was contimplating pulling that 402 out and using it in my caprice but id rather not do two motor swaps

ya its got some balls.. definitely needs a bigger cam and some porting done to the heads but besides that it i cant complain..

that build will be later if i keep it... was thinking some candy paint.. new interior and maybe some 20" staggered rims with like some 10 or 12" wide back rims and either asanti or forgiato wheels because im definitly not lifting it or going to do any type of stupid suspension work to put rims on that one

finally got some time to get the car blocked out and primed up again..... 3 coats of 2k primer now i can start blocking the hood/fenders and the euro clips and get all them primed up

ona side note... mite be swapping the 30" rims for some 28" floaters and removing my lift kit...... i will update that tomorrow nite with a forsure or not...

gonna repaint the block/intake intake got cleared but discolored from gas being spilt

everyting is msd from distributor wires/cap alternator and box

gonna add power steering pump and march bracket for that to match the march bracket on the alt

heres what i was going to go crazy with this summer but it needed way too much body work and needed repaint.... i had the brown one sitting in the driveway literally MINT and decided id rather fix up a clean ass car with minimal body work and no rust what so ever than going over a car thats been done already

also im lowering my rear end to sit how my red one did on the 30s.. but the front will be a bit higher than the red one... the car will sit level instead of crooked lol

that shit is sitting higher than some trucks with body lifts lol!!!

I've seen some rides like this in ATL, but we're evidently in the minor leagues. I've never seen anything on 30s. Crazy.
