So Im getting a light tapping noise in my passenger windshield/pillar area at around 60mph, I literally want to kick :nutkick: the windshield out as I drive my burban mainly on the highway. I have read that these trucks experience excessive wind noise and such blah blah blah. Im not sure if this is the same thing because this isnt a howl or whine...... It literally sounds like the windshield is cracking or rain/hail is hitting the glass. Im stumped, and its not an easy or safe task to drive 60mph and nose around for shit flapping in the wind. Anybody else going through this currently or have a fix?

I know on my 2000 Tahoe the windshield side moldings had a habit of making some rattle sounds. There was a bulletin way back about new updated trim pieces.Try a piece of tape down each side to see if it stops temporary.

Yeah, looks like im gonna have to go get a role of painters tape and start taping wind channels to find out where it is from. I noticed today when I lean forward towards the steering wheel it is coming from driver side as well. Im thinking the windshield may have been replaced at one time and its something to do with that.
