42$ hid's just got them!

just got my 42$ hid's to day and installed them im waiting for them to get dark so i can check them out and adjust them! LOL
heres some day shots

its the same for our years except we dont have a lot of space to work with so we end up pulling the whole grille.

btw nice find, they look like 6000s, should shine nicely

they are 5k, and yes i pulled the grill off because the lights are cheap and they are hard to get in and out thro the grill and i was adjusting them a little better pluss my grill is ******! so theres only a few screws holding it up. lol

i have some night pics of the old lights i will get some pics tonite of the hids and post them!

There is not really a point in getting them for your high beams unless you do alot of driving at night on deserted roads. They need time to warm up.

ive been told that having a high4 hid kit is illegal by my friend who's a grad student at UTI, could be bs tho.

+1, you really dont need them. maybe adding a HID fog light kit?

yea i kno that highs wouldnt be used alot but man after having lows done then u switch to hi's it make ur hi's look like shit! i would just get them to even out lol
and the low hids are brighter then hi stock bulbs LOL

im not sure about the illegal thing im sure if they were both hid's then ya u might get stopped but if u had lows in a hid then a hi in stock ud prolly be ok, and having lows, hi's and fog hids in a high 6 would just be ridiculous imo

Just do the 4 high mod with hid lows/silverstar highs. That way it will still be bright but you get that extra beam.
