Greetings,
I have an 2012 Z71 with a CCM spacer lift (2.5F/1.0R).
I would like to level a bit more in front and was looking for a 3" lift pacer (1.5") . Does anyone know who makes a 3" spacer ?? My truck has a rake to it and I'd like to eliminate that a little bit and go to a 17" rims with 285/70/17's on aftermarket rims so I can maybe clear without trimming. I know the "Z" trim has more trimming because of the front bumper trim than a reg Tahoe does .

My frame and axel guy said my cv angles are not bad with the 2.5" lift so i was going to push it to 3".

Also was wondering about a diff drop kit to be on the safe side. Maybe and inch or so .

Anyone have any info on this stuff for me ?

IMO 3" spacer lift for the front is too high. The CV boot ribs are almost touching on mine and they might touch for a 3" application. I would hate to wear a hole in one of those... A CV spacer would help but that will decrease your clearance and increase the potential for the strut to top out.

If you really wanted to go that route check out the Rough Country 3.5" kit. So far only a few 2WD folks put them on, and I have seen one thread for a 4WD. I asked for a longterm review from the 4WD guy but he has not responded.

Going up to a 1.5" spacer (3" lift) will make your uca just about sit on its droop stop resulting in zero downward travel and a truck that rides like poop. Best bet is a full on lift or look at the RC 3.5" kit or ReadyLifts 4" kit.
