I am looking for some advice/suggestions. 2012 Denali XL
I'm putting new rubber on the Denali today and once again I'm just thinking how much I hate these stock chrome wheels. I don't mind the rim as much as the chrome. Take forever to clean and just this last time I am seeing some peeling in the chrome as well. I have looked for some 20 in replacements but I am not really looking to pay $800 to $1200. I looked on Craigslist and Ebay as I would be happy with some of the 20 in off a pick up since so many folks seem to change out their wheels I figured there would be some good deals around but most want as much as some new aftermarket rims. My truck is the family mover and tower it has some dings here and there and I'm really not looking for flashy. If I could get a set of 20's that look like the 17in spare rim I would probably do it. Given all of that, I might try to Plasti Dip these but I have never done so on chrome. Has anyone else? Anyone have any recommendations on wheels that don't cost a fortune...
