2025 Yukon Garage Remote Programming

You don't need to put the garage door in learn mode. All you have to do is hold the remote up to display and push both buttons at the same time to get them to synchronize. I have the exact same opener, and it took it the first time no problem. Learn mode on Lift masters is only when you are attaching other handheld remotes or a remote door keypad.
Problem is I don’t even have the remote anymore!

Remotes are cheap ($6 for 1, $10 for 2, etc.) on eBay. Just bought a few for use at several places and they programmed easily. They can be programmed for the newer MyQ openers or my 22YO Craftsman/Liftmaster. For compatibility verify the color of your opener's programming button.

EDIT: For security purposes it may be advisable to clear the opener's memory before attempting to program new remotes. If remotes have been lost but are still in the programming, they can be used by someone else to open the door. Clear the memory and program the external keypad and all the remotes you have.
