My 2025 Tahoe High Country 6.2-liter had the engine light started flashing and the engine stuttered/fluttered/hiccups at any speed. This is an intermittent problem. The dealership has twice tried remedy this by checking which cylinder is misfiring, but each time I've gotten it out of the shop, the trouble starts again within a day. I’ve already had the same coil replaced twice and it is happening again. My vehicle has less than 7k miles.

Best advice I have is drive it straight to the dealer when it is happening, and don't shut it off...make the techs come out and put a scanner on it while it happens. In absence of that, hit the OnStar button, and ask them to run a remote diagnostic, so at least you will get some of the codes to give the dealer.

Flashing Check Engine is typically indication of a mis-fire, as you stated.
MisFires are caused by either compression, fuel, spark, or air.

So you could have an ignition problem (spark plug, wires, or coil)
You could have a compression problem (measurable), could be caused by poor piston fit, rings, or valve train issues (including lifters),
Or you could have a fuel problem (fuel pump, fuel injector, etc).

Only a competent diagnosis will resolve it.

2025 Tahoe High Country with 6.2 started doing this yesterday. 9500 miles. Took it straight to dealer. I will post what they tell me.

Dealer said they replaced coils and plugs, but couldn't recreate the issue. We will see if it happens again.

You don’t say where you’re located? I’d suspect contamination in the fuel or fuel filter, fuel pump… *bd gas may not be covered by warranty.

Most times they didn’t even diagnose or look at it. Next thing they’ll say is - we couldn’t duplicate the problem. That infamous statement tells you that your vehicle sat there without anyone doing anything. Me, I check the GM app for movement, screenshot times it was on, check my mileage and gas levels… because that shows and tells me someone is at least doing something about my truck. I so dislike someone trying to blow smoke up my ***.

Good advice!
Can’t duplicate the problem does happen but just starting the engine and if it sounds normal and no codes are showing is not really trying to “duplicate the problem”

Checking the app for movement and mileage is great advice.
