hard to say, it might need to just be replaced, the screen runs about $60 for a aftermarket replacement and takes a couple hours work.
don't bother to ask the dealer they will not replace the screen, they only replace the entire thing which is probably $1200-1400
I replaced the screen in the wifes rig, it's not hard to do. Her's light up but the touchscreen had a mind of it's own.
Are you able to determine if the radio is working and it's just the screen not working? or is it completely caput?

Should note, if the issue is in the HCU or radio module itself, replacing to the tesla screen won't fix anything. All the electronics and hardware is reused. i guess it might work to some extent, but if the issue is not your screen, you might not get full usage by replacing the radio to the Tesla style.

Also, alot of the other brands that are cheaper out there are cheaper for a reason. the Linkswell product line is probably the best out there for moving to tesla style screens
