I have a 2016 Tahoe PPV, the daytime running lights does not work for some reason, when i turn the automatic headlights switch to Auto, it does not work, so i have to turn on the headlights manually. Has anyone faced this issue or have an idea what can be the problem and solution?

Sorry, I replied in the other thread before I saw you had made a new one.

Look at your RPO code list in the glovebox and see if you have 9G8, which is "DELETE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS AND AUTOMATIC HEADLAMPS".

Also, you might have surveillance mode enabled. From the PPV .pdf:

The Surveillance Feature can be connected by installing a terminated wire in cavity 18 of the Light Blue colored BCM connector, X2. The wire and terminal part number to be installed is GM #13582297. When a customer-provided terminated wire is properly installed in X2-18 and the wire is connected via a customer-provided switch to vehicle ground, all automatic lighting is disabled. The feature functions with and without SEO 9G8. See wiring diagram section.

Yes I just looked and I have the 9G8 from the RPO code list in the glove box. So what's next

Just guessing, but I think that's controlled by the BCM, so if you need that feature you might have to get a dealer to enable it.
