While driving today, I noticed something odd: after shutting off the truck, the front blower kept running. I tried manually adjusting the fan speed and realized only the rear vents responded—the front just kept blowing at full force. To avoid draining the battery overnight, I ended up pulling the fuse for the front blower motor.
I'm guessing there's a relay involved somewhere, but I wasn’t able to track it down. My searches only turned up removal/replacement instructions for the motor itself. Could the relay be integrated into the blower motor? If not, I’d appreciate it if someone could point me to its location so I can get it replaced. It's pushing the upper 90s with brutal humidity, and driving around without AC isn’t going to cut it.
Thanks in advance!
