2016 GMC Yukon LiftGate window reprogramming

I recently had the actuator on the liftgate window replaced. My mechanic told me afterward that it needed to be reprogrammed in order to work and I should bring it to the local dealer. The local dealer recommended that I not bring it in because he could spend multiple hours on the job and it just wasn't worth it.
Does Anyone here know about reprogramming the liftgate Window to open?

There is no reprogramming on just the liftgate window that I know of. You replace the actuator and it either opens or it doesn't. Did you do a Google search? If it has been discussed on any site it should pull up. Good luck.
