Hello.

I have a 2015i Tahoe and I'm trying to determine the latest version/build of the HMI software.

Mine is showing 14.1F013 with a build timestamp of 03/13/2014. The Tahoe was built in December 2014.

We've had lots of iPhone/USB connectivity issues, and after doing some research I found bulletin PI1375C:

This bulletin states after January 26th, 2015 vehicles should have 14.0F105.

Looking at these version numbers, one would think 14.1F013 is newer than 14.0F105, however, the bulletin reads:

Note: The last 3 numbers will increase as the software gets updated. Those are the numbers to check when verifying software version.
The bulletin also displays a screenshot, showing 14.0F105 has a build timestamp is 09/24/2014.

If you go to Bosch's OSS GM page, they seem to have the packages listed in order:

GM Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Opel MY16 HMI Module (SW 15.1A025*)
GM Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Opel MY15 HMI Module (SW 14.0F105*)
GM Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Opel MY15 HMI Module (SW 14.1F013*)
GM Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Opel MY14 HMI Module (SW 12.6N185*)

And if you dig into the license PDFs:

MY15_M6_FINAL-14.0F105.pdf is dated on October 1st, 2014
MY15_M5-14.1F013.pdf is dated on March 6th, 2014

I took the Tahoe into the dealer today, and they told me tis2web is showing the latest downloadable software as 14.1F013.

I'm not trying to be difficult with them, but it's hard to believe considering the research and evidence from above.

Are there any techs that can confirm this?

Or does anyone have a Tahoe/Yukon built after January 26th, 2015, that can check their version? (Power+Menu+Home)

Thanks,
Jason

Do you know if this can be done by just downloading the package on usb, and installing it without bring to a dealer? I notice my version is 12.6N146.4, am I only able to upgrade to 12.6N185? I contacted my dealer and they were clueless of what the latest version was. I also chatted with Chevy about this online and they searched the latest by using my vin number and they said my current version is the latest. Is it possible the latest version were not tested by GM yet?

where do you find what version number you have?

I have a 2015i , but when I go to http://oss.bosch-cm.com/gm.html

I see "GM Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Opel MY17 HMI Module (SW 15.1B005*)" as the latest.

Do I need to stick to MY15?
