Hello,

I have the 'park assist' turned on in the personalization window.
But when I press the 'park assist' button on the left side dashboard it just blinks rapidly in yellow and then off. As expected, when I back up to wall, 'park assist' does not give warning. I'd like to fix....

I have inspected rear bumper and cleaned it. There is no indication of damage. Any idea how I can get this on or if there are common issues I can do to fix myself?

I do not have warranty and do not want to take to dealer.

thanks in advance for advice,
Terry

I just looked this up(Google search)and it says that more than likely a bad sensor in the rear. Dealer will have to read a code which will cost you money or one suggestion is to turn the vehicle on in a quiet area but do not start, put the truck in reverse and then listen to each rear sensor which should be making a buzzing noise or touch and should be vibrating until you find the one that is bad , then replace. Good luck.
