Im very satisfied with the gen x trim grille. Installation was smooth except when u get to the step of removing the clips from the fender to bumper area.

Paid 180 n some change and its actually metal not plastic. I really didnt feel like coughing up 1000 for the trex brand grills anyways.

Next step: smoke brake lights and the chrome trim

GM Summit White is just the purest, whitest white of any automotive paint..
As pure as snow.
Looks great against the black.

is anybody willing to trade me black appliques for white ones? (its the plastic piece above the brake lights). i saw them on the tahoe and they look fresh to me, although i have to figure how to remove them though.

Your answer is in what you quoted. They are the plastic "filler" pieces above the tail lights. Between the back glass and side back glass..

How did you remove the bumper with all the wiring for the front sensors and fog lamps? Does that whole harness disconnect somewhere?

Yes, there is a wiring harness just under the radiator cover under the hood. Take a look at the video I linked to in the other thread about this. It's a bit tedious to do but an overall easy job.
