I'm trying to figure out if and how the rear of my 2015 burban is lifted, is this an aftermarket turnbuckle on the auto level sensor?

Based on the angle of the trackbar and the height in the rear I suspect it's lifted a bit? Looking for new shocks and springs and want to retain the current stance while swapping to traditional shocks and springs

To get the static ride height, you can pull off one of the air lines to drain the system. By the looks of it, the purge solenoid of the air compressor isn't allowing the bags to deflate. Get rid of the air, and make sure the vehicle isn't loaded with stuff and you will be fine. If the shocks are hold air this well, yiu might want to just replace the compressor.

There first picture, large bar is the rear stay bar and end link setup - for vehicle stability. The second picture is your ride height sensor that tells the air suspension when to increase/decrease the amount of air assist.

I don't see any any lift blocks on the bottom of the spring, and I cannot see what's up at the top of the spring. Those would be the first two places that I would be looking for, in order to determine if the vehicle has been lifted. The third option will be that the actual springs themselves are not original, and they are taller than the originals springs.

Are you thinking the lift is from the shocks being tricked into always staying inflated? If that was the case, it would ride like complete shit unless it was loaded down heavily.

If it rides good, and it is indeed lifted, it is probably a spacer on top of the coils (clearly isnt one on the bottom), or could be new coil springs.

Seeing how it has factory replacement shocks and no shock extenders, im guessing it isnt lifted much, if at all.

Also, why do you want to change the shocks and springs? If you like the current stance, dont change the springs. If you feel the need to swap out shocks anyway, that wont change the ride height.

@olyelr Yup I just want to put some Bilstein 5100s on here without affecting the ride height
