2013 yukon sle front end swap

Morning all,

Recently bought a used 2013 yukon 5.8 4x4 sle, daily driver + some offroad. It would have been a pickup, but need people + pet capacity.

Looking at doing a front end swap since I can't find a winch bumper for the yukon (shocking!).

Want to confirm its 2007-2013 Sierra 1500 that is the body match for the swap?

Swap needs:
Hood
Fenders
Fender liners
Lights
Bumper (not relevant really)
Grill

What am I missing? Will silverado components work instead?

I believe the core support is different between the truck and wagon (SUV). So, add that to the list.

Will silverado components work instead?

They would. You'd need all the same parts. Personally, I'd keep it GMC.

Wish they had left the truck front end on it to begin with instead of trying to make it more like... maybe a minivan?

Nice! How about starting a build thread in the Under Construction forum? Are you doing the work?

It's definitely a "cute" and "bubbly" face.
My guess is they wanted to soften it up to appeal more to the likely primary driver- a mom carting around a load of kids. I think they went overboard cuz it looks like a fat, happy baby face. The Tahoe has a slightly softer appearance than the Silverado. But I wouldn't call it "cute". It still has some rugged and chiseled edges. I'd call it more of a refinement from the Silverado.

We have a Yukon and Tahoe Specific winch bumper now. I was on the same road forever and consider a front clip swap for a while, but ended up modifying a Sierra bumper and then got them to agree to manufacture one specifically for the SUVs. baselineoverland.com

Didn't someone recently make their own bracket to fit a winch between the frame rails of a Tahoe or Yukon? Maybe last year or 2020?

Do a search or check with our resident Overlanders.

Fantastic! Definitely need to check it out! Even with the lift ended up up to the running boards in a mud hole last week... had to get hauled out... REALLY wanted a winch at that point! Lol

pretty sure the Rough Country Silverado Hidden winch mount from the same year range can fit for a hidden winch.

That's only a bad thing because the front quarters would look so much better than the rears.

Reviving this again. I hit a deer and need to replace my bumper cover, headlights and grill. My hood also needs some work, but is ok. I'm not a giant fan of the raked out nose and high headlights of the Yukon, so I'm considering swapping to the more square nosed Sierra hood, headlights, grill, and maybe ADV fiberglass fenders with a 2" bulge and 1" rise as I'm planning on larger tires in the future. I'll need a new radiator cover and probably a few other misc. parts. Am I missing anything? I always wished this generation Sierras had the Yukon Fender lines and the Yukon had the Sierra nose. Rear fenders might look a little flat. Let me know your thoughts. Here's my truck and a Sierra with the same bumper as me and the adv fenders
