2011 PPV Transmission Issues

Picked up a 2011 6 months ago, it now has 202000 KMs on it. Just got it back from the shop for some front end issues and he tells me that the Planetary gear set is gone in the tranny. its making a loud noise in 1st and in reverse. Is this a fixable issue or a replacement issue ? Its a 6 speed if that helps.

This car is costing me way more than i bargained for.......

If the gear set is 'gone', it'll have to be replaced. I'd expect any confident transmission shop to be able to replace the set, and clean things out, if necessary.

Im still waiting for a damage report and the price to fix, repair or replace. Bearing blew and thats what caused the issue.
