2005 Yukon SLT Radio swap and XM radio reception fades

I have a stock 2005 Yukon SLT with bose radio and the XM radio on certain channels will lose reception. What causes this?

Also can I swap a Denali LUX Bose Navigation Radio in place of my stock unit? Will I be able to install the standard bose subwoofer to this radio??

Have XM send you a refresh signal. Radio swap is easy, but it will NOT work with out the lux amp and the rewire of the harness.
